Pandora was not born. She was created by the god of Craftsmen himself, Hephaestus, who enlisted help from all the gods to create the perfect woman. Athena teaches her needlework and weaving, Aphrodite blesses her with charm and grace, and Hermes imbues her with a curious, cunning mind. Finally Zeus gives her her name: Pandora, "All Gifted".

She was given to Epimetheus as thanks for his work blessing all the creatures of the earth with their traits. Before moving in with her new husband, Pandora was given a Pithos, a large jar, and warned by Zeus to never open it. Day in and day out, Pandora would walk past the jar. Staring at it, yearning to lift its lid, only a little. Until the day she did.

Upon opening the jar, all manners of evils and miseries escaped to curse the world: sickness, death, sorrow, pain. All the darkness began to plague the world, but one spirit stayed in the jar: Hope. Pandora keeps hope in the jar so keep hope close for humanity, she allows hope out when the humans need it most. A last line of defense against the horrors of the world.

As this is a wool product it is fairly naturally self-cleansing. Socks should be handwashed after approximately 3 wears. Sweaters are good for up to 10 wears. And Shawls/Scarfs/Wraps are good for months.

Or you can use your own judgement and wash them when they start to smell. Do your thing, boo.

Handwash with your favorite soap, and lay flat to dry.
